How to set up VPN in Windows Vista
First, click on the Start button and click "Control Panels".

Then select "Network and Internet"

Click on "Connect to a network" option

Set up the VPN connection - click on "Set up a connection or Network."
(The next window may not look different if you already have some networks defined)

On the next screen, click on "Connect to a workplace" then click "Next."

After that click "Use my Internet connection (VPN)."

Enter your vpn server data. In the text box labelled "Internet address" ( hilighted in blue) type vpn server address.
In the text box labelled "Destination name" (hilighted in green) type "vpn connection". This is the name of the connection, and will be shown in the "Connect to a network" screen.
Finally, make sure the checkbox "Don't connect now; just set it up so I can connect later" (hilighted in yellow) is checked.
Then click the "Next" button.

Enter your vpn account username and password (you must receive them from Torrent VPN in e-mail).
In the text box labelled "User name:" (hilighted in blue), enter your username.
In the text box labelled "Password:" (hilighted in yellow), enter your password.
Optionally, check the "Remember this password" checkbox (hilighted in green) and you will not need to enter your password every time you connect to VPN server.
Then, click the "Create" button.

You VPN Connection is Ready. You should see the following screen next.
Click the "Close" button to return to the "Network and Internet" screen.

Now click on "Connect to a network" again.

Then click on the VPN connection entry and click "Connect".

The following instructions are correct for all the next variations of Windows Vista: Home Basic, Home Premium, Business, and Ultimate.
Before starting your VPN connection, make sure your version of Windows Vista is up to date. If it is not please run Windows Update.
